Malaysia’s dynamic women’s doubles duo, Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan (now world ranking: 12, previously at 13), have, unfortunately, lost the bronze medal match at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
After a tense match with Japan’s Nami Matsuyama and Shida Chiharu (world ranking: 4), they were ultimately defeated in both rounds with scores of 11-21 and 11-21.
Despite the loss, we’re incredibly proud of their efforts and commend them on their determination to battle it out on the court for a medal for Malaysia!
Do stay tuned for more updates.
