PDRM is Offering a 50% Discount on Summons Starting TODAY Until Tomorrow for All Malaysians!

Calling all summons recipients! It’s that time of year again to take full advantage of PDRM’s discount offers and finally settle all those outstanding fines that have been neglected for months.

Let’s pay our summonses!

The Selangor Police took to Facebook to share some exciting news about their much-anticipated discount promotion, which kicks off today and runs until tomorrow (September 21st).

They announced that Malaysians can enjoy up to a 50% discount on outstanding traffic summonses. The promotion will be available from 9 AM to 4 PM at Wyndham Hotel in Klang.

Discount but at what cost?

But before all you summons payers get too excited, we hate to burst your bubble, but please note that the discount does NOT apply to the following traffic offences:

  • Road accidents
  • Court-related offences
  • Non-compoundable offences
  • OP Selamat-related offences
  • Traffic violations committed by drivers of commercial vehicles, such as medium-sized trucks (M) and lorries.
  • Dangerous overtaking
  • Using the emergency lane
  • Failing to obey red traffic lights
  • Overtaking double lines
  • Exhaust modification

Make sure to check that your summonses don’t fall under any of the following categories before heading over to settle them to avoid any inconvenience. However, if they do, just be sure to settle them regardless!
