A video has been circulating on social media recently, showing a man assaulting a Batu Pahat Municipal Council (MPBP) enforcer for issuing a compound to his grey Mercedez-Benz car for a parking offence.
As shared by the Instagram page updateinfo1, the incident took place on Wednesday (1 November) at Jalan Flora in Taman Flora, Batu Pahat at around 11am, the man can be seen arguing with the MPBP enforcer outside his car.
Things then become heated and escalate into a physical fight, with the man hitting the enforcer who also retaliated to the assault.
The man even pushed the MPBP enforcer to the ground, causing him to hit his motorcycle and a black Volkswagen car.

In a follow-up video, this time shared by X user @nanmanjoi8715, a crowd of people can be seen trying to mediate the two, with the man heading into his car and trying to leave.
The MPBP enforcer then went in front of the car with his smartphone to record the man as he left.

Following the incident, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has confirmed that the MPBP enforcer lodged a police report at 3.50pm the same day.
In a statement by the Batu Pahat District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Ismail Dollah, the incident happened after the enforcer issued a compound to the car for not having a valid parking coupon.
The car owner, a 33-year-old man then blocked the MPBP enforcer from issuing the compound and assaulted the enforcer who was just doing his job.
Both suffered minor injuries and received treatments at the Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital in Batu Pahat.
PDRM is currently investigating the man under Sections 186 and 153 of the Penal Code. If convicted, offenders face up to 2 years in jail and up to RM10,000 fine or both.
