MIXUE Malaysia celebrates a significant achievement with the certification of over 100 new Halal outlets by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) in 2025. This certification marks an important development in MIXUE’s local operations in Malaysia, enhancing consumer confidence in the safety and Halal assurance of MIXUE products.
The MIXUE outlet network continues to grow rapidly, making it one of the largest and most widespread tea and ice cream beverage chains in Southeast Asia. Since entering the Malaysian market in 2022, MIXUE has remained committed to ensuring that every business strategy takes into account the cultural values of the country. The Halal recognition from JAKIM holds strategic importance, proving the brand’s dedication to strengthening its position in the local food and beverage industry.
At the official Halal certificate presentation ceremony, JAKIM symbolically handed over the Halal certification to MIXUE Malaysia’s management, which has met all certification requirements.

MIXUE Malaysia’s General Manager, Mr. Wang Wei Long, expressed sincere appreciation to the institutions and partners who have consistently supported MIXUE’s Halal journey, including JAKIM, the Malaysian Islamic Propagation Foundation (YADIM), media partners, franchisees, and distinguished guests.
He emphasised that every process and procedure at MIXUE is carefully examined to ensure full compliance with JAKIM’s Halal standards.MIXUE Malaysia was given the opportunity to participate in the SAMA – International Sahih Muslim Hadith Event 2025, becoming part of this meaningful programme. During this year’s edition, more than 3000 cups of beverages and 2000 servings of ice cream were distributed to participants, followed by an additional 10,000 free vouchers during the closing ceremony.
Additionally, on 29–30 November this year, MIXUE Malaysia reached out to flood-affected communities in Perlis and Perak. The team visited several flood relief
centres to personally extend care and encouragement to families, senior citizens, and children impacted by the continuous heavy rainfall, ensuring they did not feel alone during this difficult time.
“Halal certification at the outlet level provides additional confidence to our customers and reflects our commitment to stringent quality control across our supply chain. From raw material procurement to outlet operational procedures, we comply with all JAKIM requirements and have developed a comprehensive MIXUE Halal Assurance System. Every outlet is required to follow this procedure to ensure consistent quality, transparent management, and legal compliance throughout the country,” he stated.

In 2025 alone, MIXUE’s Halal team successfully assisted over 100 stores in obtaining Halal certification, and MIXUE will continue to expand the number of certified outlets in the future.
MIXUE’s Halal Project Lead, Guo Xuying, expressed her gratitude to government agencies for their professional guidance throughout the certification process, which has helped MIXUE continually improve and strengthen its Halal Assurance System. He stressed that Halal certification is not just a promotional tool, but the starting point of MIXUE’s commitment to social responsibility and brand strengthening.

She emphasised that Halal certification is not the end goal but the beginning of MIXUE’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and brand enhancement.
With this Halal certification, MIXUE will continue to adhere to its mission — to strengthen the brand, enrich its partners, and allow everyone in the world to enjoy high-quality and affordable delicious products.
