What would you do if you got RM20 a day? What will you use it for?

In the Facebook post by Page Luahan Hati Seorang Isteri, an unnamed Malaysian woman revealed that her husband only gives her RM20 daily. If you do a rough calculation, the woman gets around RM600 monthly.

The woman is unaware if that amount is common and explained her husband’s rationale behind the RM20.

“He told me that he has provided all necessity for me. It’s not even enough for skincare and he has never given me money for my skincare products and other items. Sometimes, I feel like asking but I am afraid of getting scolded.”

She had asked once for money for skincare products, and her husband told her what was on his mind.

“Skincare is not that important, anyway,” her husband told her.

In the post, the woman wondered if fellow wives were doing the same—listening to whatever their husbands said. She also confessed that, at times, she felt the amount was not enough.

“When I asked him about it, he told me that he has given me everything I needed and he can’t afford to give me anything else, so I should stop asking for more.”

Do you think RM20 a day is enough?
