If you’re a fan of Nintendo or any of its products such as Super Mario, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda and more, then we’ve got some good news.
This is because, for the first time ever, the Japanese multinational video game company is opening up a POP-UP store in Southeast Asia!
Setting up shop at Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport for a limited time period next month, the Nintendo POP-UP STORE will feature exclusive official merchandise from the company’s intellectual properties (IPs).
These include merchandise from games such as Super Mario, Splatoon, Pikmin, Animal Crossing and The Legend of Zelda that were previously only available at Nintendo TOKYO, Nintendo Shop and Nintendo KYOTO stores.
Announced through its official website, the POP-UP STORE will only open from 17 November 2023 until 1 January 2024 at Level 04-220 & 221 of Jewel Changi Airport.
Furthermore, Nintendo also announced that more original merchandise items will be unveiled closer to the date of opening.
Besides that, the company is also offering 6 types of exclusively designed postcards below for shoppers who spend SGD80 (approximately RM277) or more in a single purchase.
Players who check in to their Nintendo account at the venue will also be able to collect special stickers to mark the event.
So, what do you guys think of Nintendo opening up a POP-UP store for the first time in this region? And are you sad that it’s not opening in Malaysia instead?
