Bodyguards are there to protect you from any harm and ensure your safety. For Dato Seri Vida’s family, their wealth is no secret among Malaysians as the businesswoman sometimes tend to flaunt her wealth on social media.
Just this morning (February 19), Dato Seri Vida’s daughter, Cik B shared a TikTok post @cikb_havoc that showed her strolling around a mall in KL in a fancy outfit, with the companion of multiple bodyguards.
Cik B walked around the mall in style with her cup of coffee with a few bodyguards around her occupying the walkway and ensuring her safety.
In her post, she jokingly stated,
“I have bodyguards but now I need a lover.”
Well, everyone needs to feel safe and loved at the same time!
In case you are not aware, over the past few months, Cik B followed in her mum’s footsteps and started venturing into business, where she makes her own money by selling crispy salmon skin and other snacks online.
Cik B did not bother to hide her massive income from her online business. Once in a while, she shows herself in bulks of RM50s and reveals that her online sales are doing good. With the family’s wealth, it’s understandable that they need the companionship and protection of bodyguards when they’re out there.
“The triads?”
Netizens, on the other hand, were divided after seeing Cik B’s post with bodyguards. Some said it’s needed for her protection, while others don’t see the necessity.
“That’s a lot of bodyguards. The owner of the mall had only 1.”
“She should have bodyguards around her. She’s the daughter of a millionaire, not just the daughter of a random citizen.”
“I’m sure that if everyone can afford bodyguards, they would want it too.”
“It looks to me like she’s dreaming to be the triads.”
“Nothing is great about this kid and nothing here should be set as an example.”
“At least she is giving career opportunities for those who need it.”

We never know the real reasons the family needs more than 1 bodyguard. As long as it keeps them safe from harm, we don’t see why not.
