If you haven’t heard already, our former prime minister was arrested just this morning (10 December) over the accusation of tampering with the 1MDB report.
However, what you may not have known is that Datuk Seri Najib Razak happened to be arrested on the same day as his wife, Datin Rosmah Mansor’s 67th birthday.

Wishing her mother the happiest birthday, their doting daughter took to Instagram to remind her mum that despite the tough situation which they are in, they should be thankful for still being alive and well.
In her post, she wrote in the caption,
“I know today is not the easiest day for us but let’s take a moment to thank Allah that we are all healthy, alive and still able to help others in need. Happy birthday to my one and only Mummy. Love will get us through it all.”
Her post was accompanied by a sweet photo of her mother in her younger days carrying Nooryana as a child. Check out her heartfelt post below:

This isn’t the first time Najib’s daughter has taken to Instagram to express her family’s woes and remind them of their strength because, prior to this, she expressed her concern over her dad being arrested by the MACC, for the second time.
Well, it’s definitely a difficult day for Najib’s family and we are sure that the former Umno president’s arrest on his wife’s birthday was just an unfortunate coincidence. Hopefully, the family will get through this predicament smoothly.
