The Holy Month of Ramadan is all about giving back and showing some warmth and compassion to others.
Last week, Twitter user Zulfadhli Zin shared that he has been buying his Raya clothes at MYDIN ever since he was in secondary school as the quality is unbelievable for its price point.
“My Raya clothes from when I was in form 4 are still okay now and I can still wear them,” he added.
Aku dari kecik memang beli dekat Mydin atau Kamdar. Quality not bad kena dengan harga aku suka. Kain memang tahan lama, aku punya baju masa form 4 sampai sekarang masih ok dan boleh pakai? pic.twitter.com/qrPV3nUV7t

Much to his surprise, the Twitter admin for @MydinMalaysia replied to his tweet and suggested for him to purchase a new set of Baju Melayu for this year.
He then shared an edited picture of him and his family’s Raya picture, tagged MYDIN’s official account and jokingly asked them to sponsor his family’s Raya clothes this year.
Come on mydin, kami sekeluarga full set dari songkok, baju, sampin semua dari @MydinMalaysia . Tahun ni sponsor lah kami sekeluarga ??? pic.twitter.com/bJMyc9T5S2

He got his wish!
A few days later after their interaction, Zulfadhli shared that MYDIN reached out to him via Twitter and said that his post had caught the eye of the managing director Datuk Wira Dr Haji Ameer Ali Mydin!
Zulfadhli said in his Twitter post, that MYDIN’s boss himself offered to sponsor him 10 sets of Hari Raya outfits in appreciation of him and his family’s loyalty to the brand.

He then shared that he will be donating the clothes that MYDIN gives him to the less fortunate converts (mualaf) around Johor Bahru.
“I will organise it with the Hidayah Centre Foundation Johor NGO,” he added.
In a series of pictures, he thanked MYDIN, Datuk Wira Ameer and the staff at MYDIN Mutiara Rini for helping him with the Raya clothes.
Terima kasih @MydinMalaysia terutama staf yang banyak membantu dekat Mydin Mutiara Rini.
10 pasang baju raya yang Mydin sponsor pada aku, aku bagi semuanya pada yang memerlukan.
