The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has arrested 10 men earlier this morning in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan. This is following a video that went viral on social media showcasing them getting involved in a fireworks ‘war’.
Aiming the incendiaries at each other, here is a video of the incident that was posted on 3 May 2022.
According to the Seremban District Police Chief ACP Nanda Maarof the 10 individuals, aged between 19 and 42, were arrested circa 4am and will be remanded until 9 May 2022.
“The police has confiscated all fireworks. This case will be investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code and Section 6 Explosives Act 1957.”
Come on people, why can’t we just enjoy Hari Raya Aidilfitri safely?
