If you haven’t watched the movie that has been the talk of the town recently, you’re definitely way behind. Although some of us would wait for the online release, no hate. Still, to experience the wonders of Wakanda fully, you’ve got to catch the best movie of all time (as rated by Rotten Tomatoes), Black Panther, in the theatres.
To thank the support of fans worldwide, Marvel has been accepting fan art submissions of the latest superhero film on the Internet. By sharing their illustrations on IG with the #BlackPanther hashtag, selected lucky fans will get their artwork featured in a collection of fan art on Marvel’s official Instagram account.
And guess what? Malaysia has its own proud representative! #MalaysiaRepresent
The talented artist behind the amazing illustration of Shuri, the Princess of Wakanda, is Adora Chloe George, a freelance graphic designer who hails from Sabah but currently resides in Subang Jaya, New Straits Times reported.
The 29-year-old was certainly ecstatic upon finding her artwork among those featured in the fan art collection.
Marvel (yes, THAT Marvel) shared my drawing of Shuri!! 😁😁😁

When contacted by NST, Adora said she did not expect to see her illustration featured on Marvel’s official Instagram account.
“I definitely woke up this morning to some great news! I chose to draw Shuri because she’s my favourite character in the movie.”
“She’s witty, funny and smart. I loved everything about the movie – it featured a great storyline,” she said.
You can check out more of Adora’s artwork on her Instagram account and her merchandise collections on her website here. They’re pretty lit if you ask us!
Ciao for now, gotta get my hands on those cool collectibles!
