How much are you willing to go to prove your love and worthiness in a relationship? A Malaysian girl recently shared about her older brother whom she thinks has gone too far by fulfilling all of his girlfriend’s requests.
In an anonymous confession post shared by the Facebook page MY (Malaysia) today (January 18), the girl revealed that her brother is dating a jobless woman, and the couple has just started dating not too long ago. Despite the duration of the relationship, the woman has quite a lot of requests that she wants her boyfriend to do.
He “drives” his love closer to her
In the relationship, the woman, who lives 8 hours away expects him to drive to her every month. The man’s sister, however, is not happy about that.
“My brother drives for 8 hours just to see her, but she has never driven all the way to my brother here.”
Not only that but the girlfriend’s mother also suggested the couple always have “physical intimacy” to keep his heart. As the couple is in a long-distance relationship, the woman wants her partner to catch up on TV dramas with her via live video call every night.
“She has never considered the fact that my brother has to wake up early the next morning to go to work,” his sister ranted.
What if he falls sick? Apparently, the routine of watching dramas together has to maintain.
“Even when my brother has Covid-19, he has to wake up and watch dramas with her, until she falls asleep.”
“Love is blind”
The girl, who said that this is a sign of one-sided love, sought help from the netizens, who believed that she should leave her brother in his own world.
“As long as your brother is enjoying, as an outsider, you should just stay out of it.”
“Love is blind, don’t you know it? And they’ve just started the relationship. The beginning is always the best. Just wait. Your brother will be tired of it someday. Don’t interfere, and just wish them well.”
“One is willing to beat, another one is willing to get beaten. You just stay out of it.”
“It’s his choice, he hasn’t even said he’s tired, and it’s only once every month. Just take care of yourself and leave your brother alone.”
“He won’t wake up, he’s drunk. He’s doing everything willingly, and you should just stay out of it at the time being. When the time comes, your brother will be tired.”
