In case you’re not familiar, Keranamu Malaysia was the official theme song for Merdeka Day from 2000 to 2006, composed by Pak Ngah, with lyrics by Siso Kopratasa.

It is 1 of the most iconic patriotic songs in our country’s history, with Malaysians regardless of age knowing the lyrics by heart.

Thanks to Cikgu Kausar and Cikgu Lin, differently-abled students at their school with hearing impairments were also able to enjoy the song’s lyrics and its significance.

Malaysians were moved by the teachers’ dedication

In the comments, Malaysians unanimously praised both teachers for their utmost dedication to educating those with impairments.

One commenter said that the 2 of them have such noble jobs and said that their enthusiastic interpretation of Keranamu Malaysia in sign language moved him.

Meanwhile, another commenter said that they have always wanted to learn sign language, with Kausar encouraging him to do so.

In a previous viral video posted by Kausar back in 2022, he shared some of the struggles he faced while doing his practicals as a special education teacher.
