While most people consider teaching a demanding and taxing job, many who are not in the profession often forget how rewarding it can be, especially for those dedicated to ensuring their students’ proper well-being at all times.
A recent TikTok clip displaying such a bond between two teachers and their students has been making its way online, garnering plenty of attention. A fellow colleague and teacher of theirs, Cikgu Ayie, captured a moment of the duo dancing alongside their students, sharing it to his page @rosewell_official.
In the video, the two teachers, who were standing in the middle of an aisle that was packed with chairs of seated parents, proceeded to dance to the beat of Bole Chudiyan, a hit song from Bollywood movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham… (2001). From waving their hands in the air to dancing with tonnes of energy, the duo even turned to each other at the end of the clip, enjoying the moment with each other as well.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Cikgu Ayie revealed that the two teachers in the video are named Cikgu Amira and Cikgu Nganeswary. All three of them work as music teachers at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sri Cheras in Kuala Lumpur. According to Cikgu Ayie, his colleagues organised the dance for a Hari Anugerah Cemerlang performance, carried out by kindergarteners who attend the school.
To give their students support and encouragement as they performed, the duo decided to dance to the moves practiced off-stage with them.
Receiving immense praise for their cheerful disposition and gleeful effort, many people applauded the teachers for not only teaching the students to perform, but for acting it out with them on the day itself.
“This is the reality for someone who is considered to be an educator,” wrote one user in the comments section.
However, a few people in the comments section who are teachers themselves, alluded to how heart-warming yet normal such behaviour is, as they are setting an example for their kids.
“It is always like this. The teachers are the ones who train the students, but they are actually more excited about the performance,” penned another user.

Going above and beyond their duties, we salute Cikgu Nganeswary and Cikgu Amira for setting an excellent example for other teachers in Malaysia.
