Often times, an environment becomes uncomfortable for an individual when someone confesses their feelings for them only for them to reject that person. Now, you’re going to have to see that person almost every day!

Well, one girl is questioning whether she should move after a security guard at the place she is staying confessed his unrequited feelings for her.

The girl, a student, took to the UTAR Confessions 2022/2023 Facebook page to share the details into this incident.

Guard 1

She wrote, “Me (a girl) came back after eating at the mamak yesterday and the guard who is on duty at Cypress (condominium) every night confessed his feelings for me.”

“He told me that he is 22-years-old and has been single until now. He said that he is different from his friends of similar race. He said he will take good care of me and buy me whatever I want. (He said that) if I find someone else that I like then he will give up.”

The interaction made the girl feel uncomfortable, especially considering it happened in the early AMs and there was no one else around.

Guard 2

“I was the only girl there, in the early hours of the morning. I didn’t know what to do. I was afraid that he would do something extreme if I rejected him. I didn’t like him at all. I always regarded him as an elder because he looked like he was 30-years-old (but that’s my opinion).”

“Has he, the guard on duty at night, confessed his feelings to anyone else? I really want to move out now.”

UTAR Confessions 2022/2023 also took the time to state that the girl’s post only represents her point of view and not their own.

What do you think the girl should do? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
