The forbidden relationship kind of story is always the weirdest, if not the most extreme.
On Dcard, a Chinese anonymous confession platform, a post recently went viral where a man opened up about the love he has been harboring towards a woman. Here’s the thing. The woman is not among his peers or anyone he met online, but it’s his friend’s MOTHER.
Is he thinking of confessing his love towards his friend’s mother? Let’s put it this way – he’s thinking of becoming the father of his friend.

In the post, the man recalled his time spent with his friend since high school and it was just recently that he visited his friend’s house, and spent the night there where he finally met the woman who made him fall in love.
“She looks like she’s in her early 30s. She definitely has a good skincare routine. We talked a lot about each other’s lives the other night.”
Not long after, the man found himself constantly fantasising about his friend’s mother and tried to find opportunities to go to his friend’s house, so that he could see “the love of his life”.
The woman’s husband left many years ago, and he was described as an “irresponsible man”.
Things did not take long to escalate to another level and this time, he started to chat with his friend’s mother on WeChat daily. He admitted that he doesn’t mind the age gap and despite his feelings toward the woman, something does not feel right.
“I’m starting to feel that things are not headed towards the right direction. But I don’t want to stop.”

The post ended with the man wondering if he is a bad person for secretly falling for his friend’s mother.
