M’sian Narrowly Escapes Injury as Trailer Tyre Falls from Flyover in Putrajaya & Crushes His Car

A driver went through a terrifying ordeal when his car was struck by a trailer tyre that came loose at a flyover near IOI Mall Putrajaya.

According to a post shared on the Threads account thebokoson, the incident happened right before their eyes, just two vehicles ahead of where they were.

“It was only two cars in front of us. This brother’s car was the unlucky one. A trailer tyre detached from the flyover above and fell, bouncing repeatedly onto his car. God protected him and us,” the user wrote.

Meanwhile, the victim’s sister, expressed gratitude that her younger brother escaped unharmed despite his vehicle sustaining severe damage.

She added that her brother has since lodged a police report at the Sepang District Police Headquarters.

The incident sparked various reactions among netizens, many of whom expressed sympathy for the victim while raising questions over road safety, particularly concerning heavy vehicles such as trailers and lorries.
