A recent incident between a woman and her husband has been making waves after he slapped her at a mall in Kota Warisan.
The 29-second viral clip shared via Mynewshub, shows the woman walking out of the mall, holding a plastic bag in her left hand.
As she reached the exit and spotted her husband, wearing a cap and walking towards her with a child, she was suddenly slapped.


He slapped her because she took too long to buy food
Sepang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Norhizam Bahaman, shared that a man slapped his wife over anger from a delay in leaving after buying food, as reported by Harian Metro.


Norhizam explained that the incident happened because the victim, who is also the suspect’s wife, took too long to leave the mall after buying chicken rice.
He also mentioned that the suspect, believed to be in his 50s, had been sleeping in his car the whole time she was inside.


He has been remanded for 3 days
It was earlier reported that the man who slapped his wife at the Kota Warisan mall, making the video go viral on social media, was arrested by the police outside a clinic in Kota Warisan on February 1.
“The suspect has been remanded for 3 days starting today to help with the investigation,” he said.
The police confirmed that the man was arrested to help with the investigation under Section 323 of the Penal Code and Section 18 of the Domestic Violence Act 1994.
