OOTD is perhaps one of the trending (and important) aspects when it comes to Raya. The million-dollar question revolving colours and themes of Baju Raya is pretty much inevitable every year but this time, we’re talking about a character imprinted on Baju Raya.

Malaysian influencer, Prince Syed shared on his Instagram reel @prince_syed_shahid recently and shared the Barbie-themed Baju Raya he made for himself, his wife, and his kids. The vibrant colors of the outfits are easily spotted and the designs are unique, unlike the standard, classic Baju Raya we’ve always seen.

We guess they’re each other’s Barbie & Ken in the Barbie world.

Prince Syed revealed that he spent RM4,000 to make 4 sets of Barbie-themed Baju Raya for his family, which he dubbed a “simple outfit”. The highlight of their Raya this year is not only their Raya OOTD but also the release of their 1st Raya song, titled “Tiberr Raya.”

The couple, however, gained public attention when they visited the cemetery in their Barbie-themed outfit.

In the IG reel, Prince Syed shared some snippets of his Raya with family and friends in Gerik, Kedah.

“This is us when it’s Raya, with our family and good friends. It’s a pleasure that’s hard to describe when all of us can get together for Raya, but it’s the best and most fun when Raya is celebrated in the kampung.”

Prince Syed also apologised in advance to his followers in case he had upset them with his content.

Netizens, on the other hand, didn’t think it was a good idea to visit the cemetery in the outfit.

“That’s a cemetery. It’s not a place to be fashionable.”

“The graveyard is the place to remind us about death.”

“Oh my God, I was so shocked to see this.”

“This looks like Paddlepop in the cemetery to me.”

What do you think of their unique Barbie-themed outfit?
