A homeowner was shocked to find a dead body of a woman buried under cement in the bathroom of their rental home after the tenants had left.

Before renting the property to others, the homeowner inspected the house to find that the tub in the bathroom had been cemented over. After seeking assistance in breaking down the cement, they discovered the dead body inside.

According to a press released shared by the Selangor Police Chief CP Dato’ Hussein Bin Omar via the Polis Selangor Facebook page, they have arrested a 53-year-old foreign man to assist in the investigations regarding this matter.

“The investigation found that the complainant (the home owner) had rented out their house in Kampung Pandamar to 2 foreign men for 2 years, from August 2019 to October 2021.”

“Before renting the house to other people, the complainant made an inspection on the bath tub in the bathroom of the house and found that it was cemented over,” he said.

The previous tenants then allegedly told the homeowner that water from rat carcasses were flowing into the bath tub, which led them to cement it over. Believing this reason, the homeowner then rented out the house to another tenant.

Last November, the complainant had then asked a foreign man to repair the roof of the house.

“While paying for the repair work, the man told the complainant that there was a body in the bath tub. But, the man who gave the information has returned to his country of origin.”

“So, to confirm the information, the complainant made a police report. Following that, the police together with the fire department, the Forensic Unit, the Criminal Investigation Department from the Selangor Police Headquarters went to the scene of the incident,” he added.

Upon breaking the cement apart, they discovered the body of a woman.
