On Tuesday, 2nd of May, a pet owner’s worst nightmare came true when an unidentified man broke into their house and stole their beloved dog, Milo at Bandar Kinrara 5 (BK5), Puchong.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the victim said the thief left empty-handed after breaking into a neighbor’s house and then headed towards their house where he grabbed Milo, a friendly Maltipoo dog that doesn’t attack strangers.
The neighbour’s CCTV footage caught the thief on camera as he rode away on his motorcycle with Milo.
Unfortunately, the footage was grainy and the license plate of the motorcycle is unknown, making it hard to identify the thief. The victim has reported the incident to the police and created fliers for their missing pet which was posted on social media.
In an amazing turn of events a good samaritan reached out to the victim after Milo had wandered into their house’s porch at Bandar Kinrara 9 (BK9) on Thursday evening.
The anonymous hero said that it was raining heavily when she came home from work. As she was parking her car at the porch, Milo suddenly appeared all wet, cold and covered in dirt.
She caringly took him in, gave him a shower, food and treated some of his wounds. The rescuer thought it was one of her neighbours’ dogs but no one owned up after she asked around.
After some quick research on Facebook the rescuer found the victim’s “missing dog” post and reached out instantly.
The anonymous rescuer also said that there was no strange man with a motorcycle that matched the thief’s profile around her area. It seems the thief had abandoned Milo at BK9 after stealing him at BK5.
Milo is now safe and in good hands but the culprit is still on the loose
Today, Milo finally reunites with his family but has an injured and swollen lip. The family is concerned about the safety of the other pets in the neighborhood and has requested residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
The thief is described to be a portly (possibly) Indian man who rides a dark blue or black motorcycle with red decals, a red suspension spring with only one side mirror on the left.

This incident serves as a warning to pet owners to ensure the safety of their pets by taking adequate precautions, such as securing their home locks or setting up a CCTV.
We are so glad that Milo is now safely at home with his loving family.
We urge netizens with any leads on the thief to report to the police as soon as possible.
