When it comes to trying to find a missing person, the more people who are out there searching for them, the better the chances of actually finding the missing person are.

Recently, a Malaysian has taken to TikTok to offer a reward of RM50,000 for anyone that manages to find his lost brother.

In a video shared by Qusyairi, he stated that his younger brother, Muhamad Akmal Hakimi Ishak has gone missing in Mersing, Johor ever since the 1st of February.

He shared that Akmal did not return home after he went hiking the hill alone at Pulau Mawar, Mersing and that his family have filed a police report in response to the incident, but the search and rescue (SAR) operation has not gotten any results.

Akmal’s motorbike was found at Pulau Mawar around 12 noon on 3rd February.

In an interview, Qusyairi shared that his younger brother had previously hiked alone so this wasn’t something new and despite not finding him, his family have not given up hope and continues to pray for his brother to come home as soon as possible.

He said that although the SAR was stopped on February 7th, the search has continued along with NGOs, villagers, and mosque imams.

“There is a mystical, supernatural world. But since my family and I aren’t concerned, others are free to speculate all they want. And ultimately, only God knows the truth.”

Akmal was last seen sporting a yellow jacket, grey shoes, and a black backpack with the Jeep logo on the day of his disappearance.
