Stray dogs are a common sight in various parts of the world. These dogs are now left to survive on their own, wandering through streets, parks, and neighborhoods in search of food and shelter. So, what steps can you take to help when you come across a stray dog?

In a recent post by Facebook user Shangar Sadayapan, he shares a story of how a burger product owner had captured a mother dog that lives in a bush with its newborn pups which are less than a month old.

In the post, he shared that the mother dog, doesn’t roam into the said burger company’s property. He also mentioned that he has been the one taking care of all the dogs in the area since the start of Covid.

In an effort to connect with the burger product owner and raise awareness, he shares that the dogs captured by the local municipality are not being properly cared for. The local authorities do not provide food for the captured dogs, leaving them to starve.

He also suggested that the owner of the burger product should have reached out to a nearby animal shelter to capture the dog instead.

“Now in the bushes live the newborn puppies without their mother, starving for food.”

The user is urging the burger product owner or the organisation to step forward and assist the ‘homeless and voiceless” animals.

He concluded the post by saying,

“The greatness of a nation or society is judged by how they treat animals.”

We hope the mother dog is well cared for, and that the pups are safe.
