M’sian Couriers Announce That Parcels Might Be Delayed or Even Cancelled Due To The Flood

Aside from water, road and electricity disruptions, the floods have also resulted in the disruption of courier services and package deliveries.

If you have ordered and are waiting for your parcels to arrive, you might just have to wait a bit longer as a number of courier services have announced that there might be a slight delay in the delivery of parcels, whilst some might even be cancelled!

 

Here are some official announcements for you to know!

Pos Malaysia, Ninja Van Malaysia, City-Link Express and GD Express have made announcements which revealed that deliveries may be affected due to heavy downpour and floods which have occurred in different parts of Malaysia including Klang Valley, Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang.

According to Shopee Malaysia, local retailers may have been affected by the floods, so there may be slight delays and even cancellations of some products across the country.

Similar to J&T Express, DHL Express also announced that they will be searching for alternative routes as to assure the employees safety.

“The unfortunate disaster has created delays in our pickup and delivery services. We will keep a close watch on the situation and inform you of any further changes that may impact our services,” said DHL Express in their statement.
