JUST IN: Several Areas In KL & Negeri Sembilan Face Interruption Of Power Supply

With the ongoing heavy rain and floods in Peninsular Malaysia, multiple places are experiencing power cut as well as interruption of power supply.

According to Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), several power substations have experienced supply disruptions following the rains and floods in several areas around Kuala Lumpur and Negeri Sembilan. The areas affected are listed as follows:

TNB said that their efforts are underway to ensure that electricity supply in the affected areas can be channelled in stages, depending on access and local conditions. Besides, TNB also urged the customers to stay safe and be vigilant, as well as to not touch the electrical equipment or approach flooded TNB installations.
