Malaysian actress Nadia Kesuma, who went missing after landing at Jeddah Airport in Saudi Arabia, has passed away.
The matter was confirmed by her husband via a social media post this morning (18 January). Nadia, whose real name is Nadia Kesumawati binti Abdul Karim, passed away peacefully in Jeddah on 15 January at 8:07 AM.

The cause of death, however, was not revealed.
The late actress’s husband, Professor Dr Muhammad Kamarul Kabilan, also penned a heartfelt farewell post, describing his wife as dutiful, loving, and sincere.
“My dear, I will miss you always. I am glad that I sent you off to your final destination. I love you. InsyaAllah, I will meet you again, hopefully in Jannah.”
Meanwhile, Nadia’s daughter revealed in a Threads post that her mother had passed away due to a heart attack.
“We made every possible effort.”
The travel agency that was with Nadia during the trip also responded to the matter this morning, and in its official statement, the agency affirmed that they had tried their best in joint efforts with Wisma Putra, the Malaysian Consulate General in Jeddah.
“NUH Travel would like to extend its deepest condolences to the entire family of the late Puan Nadia. We pray that her family is granted strength, fortitude, and patience in facing this extremely difficult trial.”

In a previous post, NUH Travel stated that multiple calls were made to Nadia’s mobile phone and that three airport announcements were broadcast in an attempt to locate her, but to no avail. Nadia was part of an Umrah tour package to Mecca, which also included trips to Paris and London, along with 21 other participants.
In another post, Kamarul revealed that he is heading to Jeddah to see his late wife for the final time.
