Taking to social media, Finance Minister, YB Senator Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz announced new dates for special withdrawal, which will be credited to applicants, starting tomorrow 18th April 2022, two days earlier than the proposed 20th April 2022.
Here is his announcement which was made just moments ago.
“Many have asked me, can the special withdrawals be made earlier?”
“I acknowledge your concerns. I am pleased to announce, upon further discussion with EPF, Special Withdrawals will be credited to account holders in stages, beginning 18th April 2022 and not on 20th April 2022 as previously announced.
“I sincerely hope that this will bring Aidilfitri cheer to #KeluargaMalaysia.”
