Lee, a semi-finalist on season two of Asia’s Got Talent (AGT), managed to get through the audition round of Britain’s Got Talent. (The 12th season of the popular talent competition began airing in Britain from April 14.)
He left the audience and judges at the edge of their seats with his knife-throwing card trick. Even the hosts were incredibly nervous! But when he nailed the trick, the crowd went wild!

WORLD OF BUZZ interviewed Lee shortly after his performance and he shared with us his pretty inspiring story!
“A year ago I lost my house to a fire while in Australia, I lost everything I had. Losing everything was also the best thing that ever happened to me. It forced me out of my own comfort zone and taught me that limitation forces creativity.”
When asked how he prepared for his mind-blowing trick, he said:
“It was absolutely nerve wrecking. It’s the 12th season of BGT and 11th season of America’s Got Talent. My main goal was to impress and perform in front of Simon Cowell. With that many seasons of Got Talent he has probably seen every magic trick! Glad I did something he will not forget.”
But he admitted to being tired, even though it felt like a dream as he was there for only three days before he flew home to Malaysia!
When we asked him if we could expect any more sharp, flying and sharp objects in his next act, he cheekily said: “I’m sure u can keep a secret. So can I ;)”
Here’s his advice for other young Malaysians who are looking to go down a similar path:
“Ask yourself if it is a dream or a goal. A dream is something you wish for to happen. A goal is what you make happen. If you want something bad enough, opportunities will come knocking. Just be ready when it does.”
Reach for the stars you guys!
