The new Milk Tea Mcfloat with Brown Sugar Pearls is served in a tall cup with respectable amounts of tapioca pearls at the bottom, with the brown sugar syrup stripes and a generous amount of soft-serve ice cream at the top.
Looking pretty authentic there!
Filipino Bubble tea fans were ecstatic over the announcement with McD’s post quickly going viral with 20,000 shares in under a day.
The boba is served in two flavors: Classic Milk Tea McFloat and Wintermelon Milk Tea Mcfloat. Priced at just PHP75 (RM6), it’s definitely a value for money drink more than capable of washing down that Big Mac.
Reviews of the Wintermelon milk tea on Coconuts say that it has a pleasant and sweet caramel flavor, although the creaminess doesn’t match the offerings of dedicated milk tea shops such as Tealive.
However, for such a low price, it’s perfect for an emergency boba fix!
It’s almost sure that Malaysians are hoping for the day they can take some of the heat off their Extra Spicy Ayam Goreng McD with a heavenly, milky treat.
Until then, who wants to go on a trip to Manila?
