Massive Traffic At Sungai Besi Toll Lasted ‘For Hours’ on 1 November, Videos Go Viral Overnight

Last night, 1 November, videos of massive traffic at the Sungai Besi toll plaza went viral on social media.

One of the videos posted by TikTok user, @mo_he_sh, showed cars moving bumper to bumper on both sides of the toll lanes heading towards Kuala Lumpur and back.

The video garnered over 3.6 million views on TikTok in less than 22 hours. It also garnered over 522,000 likes and 12,000 comments, where netizens mocked and complained about the massive traffic.

In another video shared by TikTok user, @farhanarosl, the massive traffic could be seen barely improving while drivers patiently line up to get past the toll.

In the caption of the video, @farhanarosl shared that the traffic started from 4pm and went on for hours. She added that in those few hours, there had been five ambulances trying to get past the traffic.

Her video garnered over 4.5 million views, 392,400 likes and 12,300 comments.
