Sun Bird, or Burung Matahari in Bahasa Malaysia, is described by MARVEL as having the ability to heal, which is vital for the group that he is in, the Warriors of the Sky. His backstory is that he was a Malaysian pirate in the 1600s and was reborn with the power of his two krises and a Klang macha haircut.

Sun Bird will fight alongside War Tiger from Thailand, Blue Dragon from Vietnam, and Shadow Shell from Taiwan. The Senior Producer for Marvel Games explained, as quoted by IGN,

“We are excited to introduce this original team, Warriors of the Sky, to MARVEL Future Fight fans and expand on the continually growing, wide variety of character choices in the game.”

MARVEL Future Fight is now in its fourth year and has more than 100 million players worldwide. With the introduction of Sun Bird, maybe it is time you download the game and give it a try if you have not already.

And who knows? Perhaps if Sun Bird is very well received, he might receive some more attention in the future.
