Don’t know where your exact polling station is for GE14? You can find out today! 

Previously, the Election Commission (EC) announced that Malaysian voters can soon check their exact polling station starting Monday, 16 April, and the day is finally here!

The Star reported that Malaysian voters can now check where to cast their ballot for GE14 starting today (16 April) as the information is available online on SPR’s website here. All you have to do is key in your IC number (make sure you don’t include any ‘-‘ or space) and you’ll get to find out the venue to cast your vote, voting time, channel and serial number.

Alternatively, you can also download the MySPR Semak mobile application on the AppStore (for iOS users) and Google Play (Android users) to retrieve the same info regarding your polling station.

Otherwise, do it the old school way by calling 03-8892 7018 or sending an SMS to 15888.

FYI, you’ll also want to take note of these important dates for GE14:

  • April 28 – nomination date
  • May 5 – early voting
  • May 9 – polling day

Although polling day for GE14 falls on a Wednesday (May 9), don’t worry about it taking up your annual leave because it has been declared a public holiday nationwide. So, make sure you go out and vote!
