Sadly, news about sexual assaults seems to be getting more common these days and yet another shocking news has made the headline in Malaysia. It was discovered that an 18-year-old teen was recently arrested in Pulau Tiga, Sungai Layar, Kedah for allegedly raping his three younger sisters.

Apparently he had raped his two younger sisters aged nine and 14 before going for an even younger sister who is eight years old. He managed to get away with the first two rapes but it was the third one that was his downfall.
The Star reports that he had forcibly dragged his eight-year-old sister to an empty house next to their home at around 8.00pm on Wednesday night to rape her. After forcing himself on her, he threatened his little sister that he would bash her up if she told anyone.

However, she choose to tell her 39-year-old mother about the traumatising experience the next morning who proceeded to lodge a police report. Bravo, little girl!
The two older girls also came forward with their own allegations when their eight-year-old sister made her report. Kuala Muda district deputy police chief Supt Saifi Abdul Hamid said that the mother was aware of the previous rapes but had dismissed it as a prank as the teen denied the accusations and blamed his sisters for slandering him.

The youth also denied the latest accusations when his mother, who is unemployed questioned him but she decided to make a police report nonetheless. Their family consists of 12 children while the father has a job as a labourer. The police arrested him on Friday after the unemployed youth surrendered himself at the police station and he will be remanded for seven days to assist with investigations.

Supt Saifi said, “All the three victims will be sent to the hospital for examination and the suspect tested negative for drugs.” The case will be investigated under Section 376B of the Penal Code for incest. The offence carries a maximum jail sentence of 30 years and whipping.
