Syukurlah Malaysia masih aman, a certain someone said. However, it seems that the number of crime cases happening in Malaysia only keeps going up. Worse, we are ranked no. 1 in South-East Asia, and no. 15 in THE WORLD in terms of crime rate!

Besides snatch theft, robbery, and the like, sexual harassment unfortunately happens pretty regularly in Bolehland as well.

One lady that goes by the name Dini on Facebook shared her traumatizing encounter with a pervert when she was taking the LRT.

She wrote,

“This morning, at exactly 7.57am, I got on to the LRT at the Kelana Jaya station to get to my work place.

“The second the doors opened and as I got in, this young man looked at me “up and down” with a very “naughty” face, you’d know he was not safe to be around with the second you’d see his face. Just as I passed him to get into the train, I heard a whisper in my ear, saying the lines, “Fuuuh, can I hisap you?” or “Fuuuh, can I suck you?””

She was very much disgusted at what he said but because the train was packed with people, she couldn’t make her way to get further from him.

“Since the train was almost full, I stood pretty near him, while he was right at the door of the train. He kept looking at me, smiling, making faces. I knew I needed to make a scene. But gosh, when you’re in that position, feeling so angry, so shocked, so violated, you feel like you can’t do anything.

“Out loud, I said, “What is your problem?!””

However, the pervert was not deterred. He still boldly looked at her while responding with more smiles. Desperate to do something about the situation, she whipped her phone out.

“I put my phone up to take pictures of him to shame him, but he covered his face. He got off at the next two stations after, at Taman Paramount.”

Dini expressed her regret for not creating a bigger scene to protect herself, and so people would know to be aware of the man and possibly kick him off the train. But she reveals that in such a moment, it’s not at all easy to respond.

“I was just so shaken…. I don’t have the words to describe it. It left me trembling and in tears, and I just wish no one would have to go through that anywhere they are.”

She ends her post by requesting people to share her story, and spread his pictures on social media in the hopes that other people will be wary of such person.
