A 31-year-old guy from Penang met a woman through an online game, and they decided to meet up in Ipoh for the first time.

However, his decision took a shocking turn when the woman covered his head with a hood, leaving him unconscious.

She asked him to meet her in Ipoh

In an interview, Jake (pseudonym) shared how he met a woman in her 20s through an online game and was then invited to meet her in Ipoh, as reported by Kwong Wah.

On February 7, he arrived in Ipoh and saw the woman in a car, along with a man in the driver’s seat. He got into the car, not thinking much of it.

“As soon as I got in, she put a hood over my head. Everything went black, and I was out. When we reached, I was already in the Golden Triangle,” he said.

The Secretary General of the Malaysian Humanitarian Organisation (MHO) Hishamuddin Hashim, took to his TikTok to explain how the China woman had taken Jake all the way to Laos.

He managed to contact his family

According to Kwong Wah, when they finally reached their destination, Jake said he was set up to learn how to commit fraud.

But 2 weeks later, the company suddenly shut down for unknown reasons, leaving him stranded and completely lost, not knowing where to go.

“Luckily, they gave me back my phone, so I managed to contact my family,” he added.

Jake finally made it home safely on March 18, with the assistance of the MHO.
