Attention, beer-lovers! Do we have some news for you!

Ever come across those viral videos on Facebook showing self-service “Beer ATMs” popping up in bars all over the world? Well, it looks like we’re going to have one of those right here in Malaysia sooner than you think!

Tap It Out, located in Soho KL, is the first beer bar in Malaysia offering a pretty cool self-service system where customers can pour drinks for themselves and are in total control of how much beer they get at a time.

How exactly does this self-service system work? Well, WORLD OF BUZZ got in touch with Tap It Out and found out for ourselves, and it’s pretty easy!

All you have to do when you enter the bar is purchase a prepaid card with cash. The card can then be used as an ‘ATM card’ on any of the beer dispensers. Wah, so maju!

Tap It Out serves 9 types of draught beer from 22 beer taps on their ‘ATMs’. Here’s the complete list of beer you can get there!

  • Carlsberg
  • Asahi
  • Connors
  • Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc
  • Löwenbräu
  • Erdinger Weissbier
  • Hoegaarden
  • Stella Artois
  • Leffe

Currently, Tap It Out has just debuted its soft launch this week, but as for its grand opening date, that’s yet to be decided. However, expect it to be very soon!

As for now, this is the only bar in Malaysia offering these unique ‘beer ATMs’ so if you’re around the Klang Valley, you’re in luck!

Here’s exactly where they’re located:

K-01-05, Soho KL, No. 2 Jalan Solaris, 50480 Kuala Lumpur

Remember to drink responsibly, ah! 😉
