Malaysia Masters 2023: Pearly Tan & Thinaah Win Silver For Women’s Doubles

Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan have won second place in the Women’s Doubles category for the PERODUA Malaysia Masters tournament today.

The pair was up against Baek Ha Na-Lee So Hee of South Korea and the South-Korean pair won with a score of 22-20, 8-21 and 21-17.

Prior to this match, the pairs had met just a little over six months ago at the 2022 French Open in October 2022 where Pearly and Thinaah managed to win the match and take the gold medal for that championship.

The PERODUA Malaysia Masters tournament is held at the Axiata Arena from 23 to 28 May.

Other than Pearly and Thinaah, another Malaysian pair, Man Wei Chong and Tee Kai Wun will be playing in the finals as well for the category of Men’s Doubles. Their match will conclude the tournament.

We would like to congratulate Pearly and Thinaah for a good match played and also send our support to Wei Chong and Kai Wun.
