Malaysia Brings Back 1st Double-Gold Medal in the SEA Games 2023, Making All of Us So Proud!

The 2023 SEA Games have been nothing short of spectacular for Malaysia.

In an impressive display of skill and determination, Tan Cheong Min, hailing from Malacca, secured the gold medal in the Nangun event and proved herself once again in the Nandao discipline today at the Chroy Changvar Convention, ultimately earning her the top spot on the podium.

Not one to be underestimated! These results are a reflection of her hard work and perseverance, and a shining example of what can be achieved through determination and passion.

As stated in NST Online, Tan Cheong Min earned 9.65 points for her Nandao routine to finish with 19.16. Vietnam’s Phan Thi Thu Binh took silver with 18.41 while Myanmar’s Aye Thitsar Myint settled for bronze with 18.30.

As Malaysians, we are proud of Tan Cheong Min’s achievements and her contribution to the nation’s sporting glory. Her remarkable accomplishments have brought joy and inspiration to the people of Malaysia and have once again put Malaysia on the map as a force to be reckoned with in the world of wushu.
