Local celebrity Uyaina Arshad took to her X account to share a wholesome interaction she had with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah recently.
In the post, Uyaina shared a 10-second video where she talked with the Royal couple while in a crowd. The local celebrity then shared with Their Royal Highnesses that she is 5 months pregnant and hoped that the King and Queen could pray for her and her baby’s wellbeing.
Hearing the news, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong raised his hands and prayed for Uyaina and her baby, while the Raja Permaisuri Agong excitedly put her hands on the local celebrity’s tummy. Aww, so cute!
Afterwards, Tunku Azizah went to one of her aides and got some cash to give to Uyaina as a gift for her unborn baby.
In the caption, Uyaina wrote,
“Raja Permaisuri Agong gave me money because I’m pregnant. But it’s not for me lah, for my baby. I’m going to put this money in savings. Let the money become a ‘mother money’ so that my baby’s money will also ‘reproduce’ ?”

In the X post’s replies, many praised and thanked the Royal couple for their generosity.
Furthermore, commenters were also happy and jealous at the same time that Uyaina got the present from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong.
Several commenters shared that Tunku Azizah has always had a soft spot for pregnant women given the struggles she faced to get pregnant.
In an interview with The Telegraph in 2022, Raja Permaisuri Agong opened up on her struggles with motherhood as she had 16 rounds of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) before having a successful pregnancy.
Tunku Azizah shared,
“I had 16 rounds of IVF and on the 17th I succeeded. I never thought I’d go on to have 5 more (children), including twins.”
Her Majesty in 2004 set up the Tunku Azizah Fertility Foundation (TAFF) which sponsored fertility treatments in Malaysia.
