How much would you spend on your beloved pets? If your answer is a lot, do you think you’d gift it a customised gold chain worth RM25,980?

That is exactly what local entrepreneur Haliza Maysuri did for her cat named Money.

The gold chain is engraved with Money’s name & birthday (9 May 2017) and was bought by Haliza and her husband as a gift to show their love for their cat.

“The chain’s measurement is customised to suit Money so it can’t be sold or be worn by anyone else. Even if I’m not here anymore, the gold chain is still for Money.”

Haliza and her husband bought Money for RM1,800 in 2018 from a pet shop. She explained that her business greatly improved ever since she brought Money home.

Initially, they were only there to buy items for one of their other pets, Gora but her husband spotted Money and immediately fell in love with the cat.

The cat got its name after Haliza asked her followers for name suggestions. One of her followers suggested the name which eventually stuck.

Haliza also believes calling the cat ‘Money’ daily will attract money into her life too. They treat the cat like their own child and it even has its own room.

The couple often fly to Bangkok, Thailand every 6 months just to buy clothes and toys for Money. They love dressing up Money in beautiful clothes every day.

Money is so pampered that it has never once set foot on the floor and even goes to a spa every month.

The cat is always carried by Haliza, her husband or a maid whether it’s at home or at the office.
