KKM Update: Malaysia Records New High With 660 Positive Cases & Four Deaths

Malaysia has recorded a whopping 660 new positive Covid-19 cases as of 13 October 2020.

Of the total cases, 658 are local cases while two cases are imported.  Unfortunately, four new deaths have been recorded, raising the death toll to 163. A majority of the new cases come from Sabah with 443 new cases. Meanwhile, Selangor records 76 new cases and KL reports 10 positive Covid-19 cases.

The breakdown of the remaining cases are as follows:

  • Penang – 23
  • Sabah – 443
  • Labuan – 19
  • Selangor – 79
  • Kuala Lumpur – 19
  • Perak – 16
  • Johor – 10
  • Negri Sembilan – 2
  • Pahang –  1
  • Kedah – 60

With the rising number of cases, Malaysians are advised to be vigilant and stay home unless absolutely necessary. Remember to always keep your hands sanitized and wear a facemask whenever in public.
