KKM Update: Malaysia Records New High With 660 Positive Cases & Four Deaths

Malaysia has recorded a whopping 660 new positive Covid-19 cases as of 13 October 2020.

Sabah (443) hasil saringan besar-besaran, Selangor (76), Kedah (60) dari Penjara Pokok Sena, Perak (16) dari Kem Tahanan Taiping dan lain-lain negeri.

350 pesakit sembuh, 6 kluster baharu, 4 kematian.

Of the total cases, 658 are local cases while two cases are imported.  Unfortunately, four new deaths have been recorded, raising the death toll to 163. A majority of the new cases come from Sabah with 443 new cases. Meanwhile, Selangor records 76 new cases and KL reports 10 positive Covid-19 cases.

The breakdown of the remaining cases are as follows:

• Penang – 23
• Sabah – 443
• Labuan – 19
• Selangor – 79
• Kuala Lumpur – 19
• Perak – 16
• Johor – 10
• Negri Sembilan – 2
• Pahang –  1
• Kedah – 60

With the rising number of cases, Malaysians are advised to be vigilant and stay home unless absolutely necessary. Remember to always keep your hands sanitized and wear a facemask whenever in public.
