Defence Minister, Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Health Director-General, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah cancelled their respective live Covid-19 press conferences today amidst speculation that a minister had been infected with Covid-19.

While no further update was given by the ministries, Dr.Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri, the Minister of Religious Affairs, just took to Twitter to announce that he tested positive for Covid-19 and is currently being treated.
“I advise everyone who attended any event involving my presence from the period of 24 September to 4 October to get tested immediately at any health clinic,” added the minister.
