A primary school teacher in Kedah has recently gone viral after she shared her story of coming across a peculiar student. One day, Farrah Norashikin Juhari, 37, saw one of her students wearing a dirty school uniform. Farrah told mStar,
“I have asked the her repeatedly about it before. However, I felt that the uniform still has not been washed at all because of all the stains. When I confronted her, she insists that her mum has washed, but the way she replied made me think she ‘cover-cover’.”
So the teacher soaked the uniform for two days before scrubbing all the nasty stains.

Farrah explained that she washed the uniform not to humiliate her parents or to shame anyone. She sincerely cared about the student, and couldn’t bear seeing other teachers make fun of her all the time.
Although there are some individuals out there who disagree with her actions, Farrah is only doing this to help her students, as a form teacher, she says. At the very least, she hopes it sends a message to the girl’s parents the importance of a clean uniform.
