With the statement from Harith Iskander over the Ham Sap Kopi remark recorded by PDRM, the comedian and his ex-wife have responded to the recent matter.
In his Facebook post, Harith reposted his ex-wife’s Instagram post, who shared her thoughts about the ongoing matter and clarified what led to the cancellation of Harith’s show, initially scheduled for last night (January 25).

The family received a death threat in the past week and following discussions, Harith and Dr Jezamine Lim decided that canceling the show is the best move to maintain the family’s safety.
However, Dr Jezamine was baffled by the threats directed toward innocent parties, which she dubbed “inhumane, cowardice, and despicable.”
“What cut deeper and shook me to my core was a vile threat of abuse against our children.”
She also lamented at the cancellation, highlighting the preparation that Harith and she had made for it, and pointed out that their children were supposed to be part of the opening of the show.
Dr Jezamine also clarified that anyone has the right to feel offended by others’ words, but not by “sinking so low” and sending threats to a person’s family.
“To target children? How do you justify that? Is this truly what you believe protects your religion or your beliefs?”

“Karma will run its course”
In another post, Dr Jezamine also expressed her gratitude to those who have been supporting her and her family all along. However, she had a reminder for those who have been spreading hate.
“I hope one day you find peace within yourselves. I hope one day your hearts soften and you understand that the energy you spend spreading hate could instead be used to spread love, empathy, and positivity.”
