Defence Minister, Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob, just announced that restaurants and convenience stores can now extend business hours to 2am.

In a live press conference held today, Ismail Sabri said that eateries and convenience stores no longer have to close at 12am. “The government agreed on business operations such as eateries, convenience stores to be extended until 2am as compared to the previous 12am closing time” that was set in line with the SOPs of the MCO.
