Johor Family of 16 Infected With Covid-19 After Travelling To Klang Valley, 1 Dead

A family located in Labis, Johor which consists of 16 people (the youngest is two-years-old, the oldest is 60 years old) has been diagnosed with Covid-19.

It is said that this large family lives in one house and that they have travelled to Klang Valley to visit other family members from 17-25 December. After the trip, they went home and the 60-year-old woman developed a fever, cough, and breathing difficulties.

The woman stayed at home and was only brought to the Segamat hospital when her condition worsened. She passed away on 3 January. She had a history of high blood pressure and diabetes, reported Oriental Daily.

Relatives also came to visit her at her house when she was sick which resulted in one of them testing positive. Following contact tracing, all of the other people in the same household have tested positive for Covid-19. Some of them have been quarantined while others have been sent to the hospital.

Covid-19 is widespread now more than ever in the nation. Please stay at home whenever you can and if you need to go out, please wear a mask and maintain physical distancing.
