What a match, despite the weather. To those who braced through the traffic in Bukit Jalil last night (December 8) for the football match, you either go home happy or disappointed.

It was certainly a good night and good news for the Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) football club supporters. JDT defeated Terengganu with a score of 3-1 and completed the quadruple crown for 2 consecutive years!

The 102-year-old Malaysia Cup football tournament (Malaysia Cup) was held at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, attracting a crowd of more than 80,000 people!

“This win seals a historic unprecedented Double Quadruple,” said a caption in the post of Johor Southern Tigers on its X page.

Many fans congratulated the football club for its historical achievement in the comment sections.

Earlier yesterday, traffic around Bukit Jalil built up as early as 9 in the morning as the crowds of both football clubs gathered outside the stadium to show their support and excitement for the match.

The loss saw Terengganu fail to end a 22-year wait to win their second Malaysia Cup title after winning it in 2001.

Were you present at the stadium in Bukit Jalil? What do you think of the match?
