The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived. Votes were cast, ballots were counted, plenty of drama were unfolded and many, many postponements were announced. But all of that has led up to this moment:

Dr. Mahathir has officially been sworn in as Malaysia’s 7th Prime Minister!

The ceremony took place at the Istana Negara at 9.57pm after Dr. M’s audience with the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong (YDPA).

This comes just after an official statement released by Istana Negara confirming the inauguration following Dr. M’s audience.
