A young boy bravely called the police himself after he accused his own dad of “stealing” the Ang Pow money he received during the Chinese New Year celebration.

Sinar Harian reported that the incident happened in Lanzhou, China, where the boy called the police to make a report against his dad, accusing him of stealing his money.

The boy decided to contact the police and told them that his dad was a “thief.”

The boy asked for his dad to be arrested immediately

When the police arrived at their home, it was understood that the boy cheered and asked for his dad to be arrested right away.

According to the police, the dad quickly apologised and explained that there had been a small argument over who should keep the money from the red envelope.

“We also provided advice on the role of a father, so that the child does not repeat this action,” the police added.
